Basic expectations for quoting from posts on this site
Thanks for your interest and readership! If you’d like to quote from any work posted on the BasecampExpanding site, here are the basics:
- Quote accurately (no editing).
- Proper attribution is required.
- For quotes of more than a few lines, you must include a link or the URL to the rest of the article on this site.
Online reposting requires my permission first.
Email me at dana.skelly@outlook.com or reach out through the contact page on this site. Be sure to provide me with a link to your website so that I may look at it as part of the decision making process.
Any permission to repost my material on your site is to repost it verbatim, with my name and a link to this blog site included.
If you receive compensation while using material from this site, then I expect compensation for use of these materials, which will be agreed to before permission is granted for their use.
Thanks to Jim at Stonekettle Station for the outstanding example used as the basis for this page.
